Overview

Ideal for back door employee entrances or parking garage stairwells, the Von Duprin 22 Series exit devices are designed for clinic/healthcare, multi-family, or retail/commercial markets.

It is available in several rim and surface vertical configurations and can be combined with electronic options such as request to exit (RX), latch retraction (LX), Quiet Electric Latch Retratction (QEL), and exit alarm (ALK).

Options & Accessories

The 22 Series can be customized to meet a variety of facility needs with several mechanical, electronic and finish options.

  • RX: Request to exit is a switch is placed in the exit device to monitor an opening; when the push bar is depressed, a signal is sent to a monitoring device
  • LX: Latchbolt monitoring signals use of an opening
  • AX: the accessible device is UL certified to meet a 5 lb. operating force requirements for the 2010 ADA (Chapters 404.2.7 and 309.4) and 2013 California Building Code (Chapter 11B-309.4)
  • ALK: Alarm kit, unauthorized opening triggers horn
  • QEL: Quiet electric latch retraction, electronic latch retraction with limited operational noise
  • HW: Wind only – hurricane rated
